A WORD FROM OUR PASTOR

Greetings, in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Restoration means to return something to a former, original, normal, or unimpaired condition. In the times that we are living, that is exactly what God is doing—restoring the church back to its original spiritual state.

In Second Thessalonians 2:3, the Apostle Paul speaks of a “falling away." I would like to pose two questions for consideration: What falling away is Paul referring to? When did this falling away occur?

Jesus established a church in the New Testament (Act 2:1-4) that shined forth the glory of God and brought spiritual life to the Jewish nation. This church consisted of 3 main elements: the Truth of God, the Order of God, and the Spirit of God, all of which enabled the New Testament church to produce overcomers.  However, after the death of the early apostles, the church began to fall into spiritual darkness. This “falling away” and gradual decline is referenced in Revelations 6:1-8.

But, thanks be to God that we are living in a time of restoration. “I hear a sound of an abundance of rain,”—a great outpouring of God’s Spirit, Truth, and Order returning back to the Body of Christ.

In closing, it will happen just like He said,  “The glory of the latter house will be greater than the former [house]” (Haggai 2:9). It is my hope that every one of you be fully restored according to the will of God, and find your place in the Body of Christ.

The Lord be magnified,
